Project: Molecular mechanisms in Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)
Previous work of our lab has elucidated how hematologic malignancies such as MDS or AML prevent progression upon effects of inhibition in DNA methylation by Azacitidine (AZA) or alterantively, develop resistence while acquiring additional somatic mutations in genes involved in transcriptional repression.
We are looking for open-minded person with solid training from previous lab. Welcome is an expertise in molecular and cellular biology, genetics, and/or biochemistry.
The applicant is expected to be involved in evaluating functionality of epigenetic pathways in order to provide experimental evidence of how tumor cells can bypass therapeutic resistance.
We offer deep expertise in the transgenic models, gene expression, flow cytometry, microscopy and tumor cell-next generation sequencing.
We offer a salary scale based on performance and two-year extendable contract. Our lab is located in a modern science building and offers superb research facilities.
Job commencement: The position is available immediately
