What will you do?
Be responsible for management of credit ledger for a client acting on a market in Spain and Portugal.
Lead the team of credit controllers and claim administrators managing client’s credit.
Set and review goals with the team, conduct meetings with the team members to review performance and motivate them to achieve targets.
Monitor AR ledger balances and service KPIs, set up and manage actions and targets to improve the performance. Drive service delivery.
Be responsible for team performance, state of ledger and regular reporting.
Proposing methods to improve efficiency and AR performance based on customers behavior.
Manage escalations, identify and analyze customers’ issues including root cause analysis, proposal and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Represent the company in front of its clients on regular service review meetings.
Work directly with customers with largest overdue balances to recover debt (including onsite visits when required).
Develop and document credit control policies and procedures as well as current internal reporting.
Design, implement and ensure adherence to internal controls and procedures.

What do we expect from you?
Strong experience in AR or related field in finance.
High level understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Experience with process management (process design, process improvements, root cause analysis etc.).
At least 2 year experience with people management.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in Spanish and communicative English, Portuguese is an advantage.
Knowledge of retail market in Spain and Portugal is a big advantage.
Representative client management skills.
Willingness to travel on regular basis.
